Description

The Baby Tree Swing. A traditionally styled swing for the very youngest member of the family to enjoy!

The perfect ‘first’ swing for any young lad or lass to enjoy! Made from the very finest English Oak and suitably sized for use by both babies and toddlers.

The Swing itself

The Baby tree swing is hand crafted from the very best English Oak boards in our workshop in Suffolk. Stainless steel fixings are used on the swing for durability. The swing provides a safe, enclosed seat for your baby to sit in. Softly rounded edges means the seat is both safe and comfortable.  The sides of the swing are nearly as high as the back rest, encouraging the baby to keep their arms inside of the swing. A safety bar on the front of the swing stops children from falling forwards out of the seat as well as doubling  as a hand grip to help them stabilise themselves. The safety bar can be easily lifted out of the way by unclipping the buckle, this can help with getting the baby in and out of the seat.

The ropes

As with our other swings, synthetic hemp ropes are used on the Baby tree swing. These 14mm ropes are extremely strong and durable, made by the Master Ropemaker’s of Chatham. They are fitted to the seat through stainless eyebolts.

Letter Carving

All of our swings can be personalised with letter carving, the baby tree swing being no exception! A special message, name phrase or date can be added to the back of the baby swing. The lettering can either be added in a straight line, or on a gentle curve, following the top of the back rest. A proof image of the carving will be sent for your approval before we carve the swing. This way we can ensure you’re getting exactly what you’d like!

Finish

The Baby swing is finished in 3 coats of Rustin’s exterior Danish oil. The oil enhances the natural beauty of the swing whilst providing protection from the elements. There is also the option to have the swing finished in exterior Satin Varnish (offering slightly enhanced durability) or left bare sanded. Leaving the swing bare sanded is the maintenance free option, it will allow the swing to weather naturally, turning it a silvery grey shade over time.

Delivery

Delivery is free for our tree swings. An E-mail will be sent letting you know when the baby swing is due to be delivered to you. There are different options the courier offers for you to manage your delivery, as well as a live map to track the driver on. We try our best to deliver within 3-7 working days however this can sometimes take slightly longer. If you need your swing by a certain date please let us know, we will do our best to help!

Horizon Swing Seat
