The Large Oak Chopping Board, finely handcrafted – Perfect for every kitchen!

Made from the finest quality English oak, the large oak chopping board has been designed to compliment every kitchen. Large chopping boards can be personalised with letter carving on the front and rear edges, making them the perfect gift to give a loved one on a special day!

The large oak chopping board itself

A large chopping board is a great addition to any kitchen. Perfect for giving as a gift, or using yourself at home! Finished to a thickness of 45mm, the boards are perfect for personalising with either a name, date, phrase or message.

Large chopping boards have a subtle groove carved around the edge of the top face. There is also a slightly shallower spout in one corner, allowing you to easily pour away any unwanted juices! All edges are gently rounded, making the board not only look great, but also comfortable to handle.

Letter carving

Chopping boards can be personalised with names, dates and phrases! Boards can be deeply carved on the front and rear edge’s as well as underneath if a little more room is required for a special message. It is important that any carving looks just as you would like, so we send a proof image of how the carving will look before the board is carved, just incase any final adjustments need to be made.

Size and finish

Large chopping board dimensions: W30 x L45 x H4.5cm

Our chopping boards are all finished with 3 coats of Mineral Oil. Mineral oil is highly resistant to water, alcohol and food acids. It is a long lasting finish which is very hard wearing, perfect for protecting chopping boards. An oak chopping board finished with mineral oil is very easy to maintain, meaning you can keep your board looking its best for longer!

Delivery

Delivery is free on chopping boards heading to mainland UK. It’s easy to track your deliveries progress, as well as make changes such as ‘leave in a safe place’. Chopping boards are usually delivered within 10 working days, however this can sometimes vary. Personalised boards may take longer due to carving proofs being approved.

Horizon Swing Seat

We purchased a swing seat just under a year ago and decided to leave the wood natural without any oil seal.  It has matured to a lovely silver grey oak colour and looks very good.  We are absolutely delighted with the product – it is robust and comfortable to sit on.  The whole process of specifying, ordering and payment to MR Woodcraft was simple and efficient.  The product was delivered when it was promised and Matt came down to our house to assemble it.  It only took a couple of hours to assemble and was done very efficiently.
