Oak House Number
Skilfully crafted in our workshop, all of our house signs are made to order from prime English oak boards. There are a variety of options available to you when creating your sign, ensuring you get exactly what you’d like.
The numbers and lettering
All of the text on your sign is carved in our Suffolk Workshop. There is the option of having your sign’s engraved text ‘in-filled’ with black paint. This option is sure to make your sign really stand out! Or the number can be left simply engraved, for a more subtle look.
Sizes
Oak house numbers are planed to a thickness of 24mm and are currently available in two different sizes:
Small: 100 x 150mm Large: 150 x 200mm
As well as these two size options we also offer a bespoke service, so if there is a certain size or even shape you’d prefer, we can make a product suited to your needs! Just fill in our contact form or give us a call on 01449 741744.
Finish
Oak house numbers can be finished 2 different ways: Danish Oiled or bare sanded. Exterior Danish oil is the standard option and really enhances the colour and grain pattern in the oak. The bare sanded option is the easy, maintenance free option, just let your sign weather naturally, slowly turning it a silvery grey colour with time – perfect for rustic or old homes!
