English Oak House Sign, crisp deep lettering for outstanding definition!

Our rectangular house signs are made from the best English Oak boards. House names are carved into rectangular shaped plaques which can be fitted straight to a wall or even stood in the ground on a post. There is the option of having the lettering painted black for extra presence.

Oak House Sign

Crafted with care and keen attention to detail in our Suffolk workshop, rectangular house signs are made to order from the finest materials. Different size and finish options are available to ensure you get exactly what you’d like. The signs can be supplied so they can easily be fitted to a wall, tree or similar. Nothing to fit your sign to? Not a problem! We also offer posts for your signs to be fitted to, they can stand on there own in the lawn or driveway. We also offer a bespoke House Sign service, so if you’d like something a little bit different to the normal, we will be more than happy to help!

The lettering

The text you choose to have on your sign is carved at our workshop. The lettering is deeply carved into 24mm thick board so it is clear and easy to read. To make the sign stand out even more there is also the option of having the engraved text ‘in-filled’ with black paint.

Sizes

Currently our rectangular house signs are available in 3 different sizes:

Small: 400 x 100mm Medium: 500 x 150mm Large: 500 x 200mm

There also three different length posts the sign can be attached too:

Size 1: 650mm Size 2: 850mm Size 3: 1000mm

Finish

Oak house signs can be finished in 2 different ways. They can be coated in Exterior Danish oil, which enhances the grain, colour and natural patterns in the oak as well as including UV inhibitors to stop the timber from fading. Or you can have your sign left bare sanded to weather naturally, thus turning it a silvery grey colour with time.

Delivery

Our house signs and numbers are usually delivered within 7 working days from order. The courier delivering the sign can be tracked and there are different options available to control your delivery. Signs are supplied with 2 mushroom plugs and 2 stainless steel 5 x 50mm wood screws for easy installation.

Horizon Swing Seat

We purchased a swing seat just under a year ago and decided to leave the wood natural without any oil seal. It has matured to a lovely silver grey oak colour and looks very good.
