Description

The Small Oak Chopping Board, carefully crafted from a single piece of solid English Oak!

The small oak chopping board may be little in size, but it’s brilliant for chopping your apples, slicing your lemons and cutting your limes on! Great for keeping close to your favourite tipples, for when you require ‘ice and a slice’. Small oak chopping boards can be personalised with lettering on the front and rear edges, making them a quirky gift!

All of our product are lovingly hand made in our Suffolk workshop, with the small oak chopping board being no exception. Lovingly crafted from the finest english oak boards, our small chopping boards are planed to a thickness of 45mm. They are perfect for slicing lemons on to compliment your favourite drink.

Although smaller than our cheese and large chopping boards, there is still enough room on the front and rear edges for bespoke letter carving.

Letter carving

There is enough room for a name, date or phrase to be carved onto the front or rear edge of the small oak chopping board. Personalising a board with letter carving makes for a truly unique gift! A proof image of the letter carving will be sent before carving, to ensure the board looks exactly as you would like.

 

Size and finish

Small oak chopping board dimensions: W12 x L18 x H4.5cm

As with our other boards, the small oak chopping board is finished with 3 coats of Mineral oil. Mineral oil is very resistant to alcohol, food acids and water. The oil brings out the natural colour of the oak as well as helping to protect it. Boards are easy to clean and maintain, ensuring you can keep your board looking great, for longer!

Delivery

Delivery is free on any small oak chopping board being delivered to mainland UK. The courier is easy to track, and there are many in-flight delivery options, such as changing the delivery date to a time which suits you better.  We aim to deliver boards within 10 working days, however this can sometimes vary. Personalised boards can sometimes take a little longer due to proofs being approved.

Horizon Swing Seat

We purchased a swing seat just under a year ago and decided to leave the wood natural without any oil seal.  It has matured to a lovely silver grey oak colour and looks very good.  We are absolutely delighted with the product – it is robust and comfortable to sit on.  The whole process of specifying, ordering and payment to MR Woodcraft was simple and efficient.  The product was delivered when it was promised and Matt came down to our house to assemble it.  It only took a couple of hours to assemble and was done very efficiently.
